The Sunnyvale Local Lodge 2228 is an affiliate of the
International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers
(Machinists Union) District Lodge 725. LL 2228 is located in Area
5 at 655 Vaqueros Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94085.
The lodge represents approximately 1000 hourly employees of
Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, Santa Clara County and
Santa Cruz County Plants. There are over 300 represented job
classifications including plant service workers, clerical,
administrative, machinists, mechanics, electronic technicians,
carpenters, truck drivers, and assemblers.
This Lockheed Martin facility manufactures and tests products for
both military and commercial applications including the Fleet
Ballistic Missile, Satellites, and other programs.
District Lodge 725 is full service lodge supporting Local Lodge
2228 with contract administration and service. The
